Back-office systems for drywall & framing subs in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas.
KLYX builds back-office systems for commercial drywall and metal stud framing subcontractors in Dallas–Fort Worth. Remote reviews connect your estimating, project, purchasing, and equipment handoffs around the jobs you run. We start with an Operations Review and a scoped audit, using the tools already in your office.
Book an Operations ReviewLarge packages. Several handoffs.
DFW Airport documents its Terminal F expansion and a modular construction approach. Airport terminals combine multiple work areas and coordinated packages; the airport’s program is a concrete regional reference. It is not a KLYX engagement, a client endorsement, or a statement that a particular trade package is open for bidding.
Make the awarded package usable to the PM.
For your own large commercial packages, the first useful system may be the estimating-to-PM handoff. Preserve the awarded scope, exclusions, alternates, addenda, supplier quotes, and commercial assumptions. The PM should not have to reverse-engineer the estimate while the foreman is asking which detail governs the work.
If the company bids through several GC relationships, give each invitation an opportunity identity even when project names are similar. Record the package revision and due date for each recipient. One site can generate several invitations; an organized queue should not treat those as unrelated estimating obligations.
Then connect procurement and equipment to the awarded job. A purchase request needs the job and approved scope; a lift assignment needs its destination and return commitment. We test those links with your actual records before proposing automation.
Texas: separate private and public project records.
Texas Property Code §28.002 covers private-project prompt payment. Section 53.056 addresses notices for derivative lien claimants. Government Code Chapter 2251 provides a public-payment framework. Identify the project type and contract parties before configuring billing and notice workflows.
For a company working on both public and private projects, one shared calendar is not a substitute for a reviewed legal checklist. KLYX organizes sources, owners, and actions; your qualified adviser sets the applicable requirements. This page does not state a payment or lien deadline.

A DFW review can run remotely.
Start with an awarded estimate, a current change log, and a representative purchasing handoff. We work with the people responsible over screen sharing and scoped review sessions. Any office or jobsite visit is discussed separately. KLYX’s home base is Phoenix; a DFW engagement does not imply a local branch.
