Back-office systems for drywall & framing subs in Houston, Texas.

KLYX works with Houston commercial drywall and framing subcontractors through remote Operations Reviews, scoped audits, and implementation. We connect the records behind changes, RFIs, bids, materials, and equipment. Your people keep technical and commercial judgment; the workflow keeps the next action and its owner visible.

Healthcare, research, and the supporting interiors.

Texas Medical Center’s Helix Park includes research facilities, and its published campus plan describes a mix of research, hotel, residential, and retail uses. These are specific examples of Houston’s medical and research development context. No KLYX involvement or current trade opportunity is implied.

Do not let an assembly decision disappear in a thread.

For a healthcare or research interior, review the actual contract requirements for assemblies, board, penetrations, finishes, and approvals. The workflow question is whether the approved record reaches procurement and the field. We do not infer technical requirements from the building type or provide engineering decisions.

Track an RFI against the affected room or area and current drawing revision. If the answer changes scope, open a commercial review action. If a proposed material substitution arrives, preserve the technical review before the buyer commits. An inbox summary is not an approved assembly.

Billing backup is another handoff worth tracing. Keep a job-specific checklist, identify missing lower-tier records, and record why a package was returned. Those actions should remain visible when the PM changes jobs or takes time away. The system supports continuity without blaming the person who has been carrying the process.

Texas payment records for a Houston job.

Private-project payment obligations are addressed in Texas Property Code §28.002; derivative lien-claimant notices are addressed in §53.056. Public projects have a separate payment framework in Government Code Chapter 2251. Your workflow should identify which reviewed checklist belongs to the job.

Keep the submitted package, receipt, rejection reason, correction, and payment record as distinct events. A qualified adviser determines legal requirements and timing. KLYX does not decide that a document is legally sufficient because it appears in the right folder.

Bring a record we can follow end to end.

For a Houston review, a recent RFI that affected purchasing can be more useful than a software tour. Remove confidential details and include the response and final handoff. We work remotely with the people involved. Any on-site work is agreed during scoping, with no Houston office or standard travel package implied.
